Design Thesis / Companion

The proposed study examined physical and mental performance management among professional soccer players from a design perspective. It aimed to enhance coach-player interaction through an app named Companion, which visualizes individual and collective player productivity. The study used quantitative desk research and qualitative interviews to identify factors influencing emotional management in high-performance athletes. The app addresses the disconnection between physical training and mental challenges by providing insights into players' psychological traits, thereby supporting coaches in evaluating player development and fostering a positive perception of mental health in sports.
